In Summer 2007 the two friends Alexander and Dieter did meet again to continue their work in creating good handmade musik. Alexander Marnie came to Germany with the scottisch Band "The Hunters" and remained in Frankfurt after the Band did seperate in 68. After several journeys to Asia, Pakistan and Afghanistan Alec settled down at Eubach in Germany. With all the impressions of culture, religion and life of the people in this part of the world, he and some friends started to make folkmusic with the bands AVALON and TRAVELLINLIGHT. The second group did make many concerts in Germany, in TV and had some airplay at several radiostations. Unfortunately, after more than ten years of work TRAVELLINLIGHT did divide. Dieter did the Bass at TRAVELLINLIGHT before and the experience in working with Alexander did clue them together. The friends of Dieter, Jürgen and Walter joined the group and now the results of the work have no longer to be hidden. Some events have to come up. Therefore we are working on making new records of some songs and creating material for Web-Performances. The music is composed and performed in the spirit of LOVE-PEACE AND HAPPYNESS. Good handmade music is what we need. The new song " Fledi die Fledermaus" is composed by Alec with Lyrics of Anrdea. It gives an example of our songs for children, wich are played sometimes at our concerts at festivals in the afternoon, when children are in the audience.
