5th Sonic Brigade formed in Sthlm, Sweden in april 2007 by singer Marcus Öhrn and guitarist Richard Evenlind whom after a few years together in Swedish punkrock act Noice decided that they wanted to do something new and fresh. They recruited former Soilwork drummer Henry Ranta and started to write songs for a debutalbum. Now three singles, two i-itunes top 10 hits later the debutalbum is finished and ready for it..s release april 24. The bands music has not only been compared with Foo Fighters, Queens Of The Stone Age but also with acts like Iggy Pop, White Stripes and Blur and with this album 5th Sonic Brigade really nails it. You have everything you can ask for from a debutalbum. Strong lyrics and well written melodies.
