Brendan Adams has a musical maturity beyond his years, with songs that express beauty, love, pain, humour and opinions on the state of living with his perspective from hard streets. Born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa, for Brendan as for most South Africans everyday is a battle for survival in all meanings of the word and this young man is not afraid to speak about the ghetto’s he knows. It is for this reason that he feels compelled to comment on the state of the nation and its people, painting lyrical pictures over the canvass of music for all to see. Whilst travelling through the UK and Europe working odd jobs where he could find them, Brendan gained a greater perspective music and song writing as his constant companions. Brendan the nomad/adventure specialist met Austrian drummer Alfred Vogel by a simple twist of fate, and the result, two albums and three years later the music is still flowing strong.
