The Jamie Johnson Band is a project driven by songwriter Jamie Johnson (Guitar/Lead Vocals) Jim Bowers (Drums) Amel Eiland (Bass) and Alex Labrie (Lead Guitar).

Things moved quickly from the very beginning - Jamie and Jim both from London joined forces in early 2009 and just 2 weeks after forming won a band competition in Den Haag. Amel and Alex witnessed the win and brought thier own backgrounds of diverse musical talent to the band. Together they have found their sound that tantalizes audiences.

Inspired by David Bowie, the Rolling Stones, Talking Heads, Lou Reed,Oasis Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd and The Beatles. The Jamie Johnson Bands sound can be described as a blend of, rock, pop, funk, which equals great tunes and good times.

The Debut album ‘From Beyond’ was completed in Feb 2010 and is set for official release May 7th 2010. The Jamie Johnson musical project is on the rise.

Their versatility is one of the bands strongest points, thus expanding their niche to a much bigger audience. There´s power in The Bands live show that no audience can deny - every Jamie Johnson Band performance builds and blends modern beats beautifully with swirling guitars and haunting vocal melodies. This band has unlimited potential in many ways and hopes to bring fun and good music to the world.
