The SPITEFUL project started in September 2003: Tommy and Marco (vocals and guitars) began writing songs and playing some covers together with Cava (bass guitar) and Paolo (drums). They played their first live shows in spring 2004, achieving great success by the audience. The band recorded its self-produced demo at "Sonica Project Studio" during that summer. Unfortunately Cava had to leave the band in the beginning of 2004 and he was replaced by Stefano. Spiteful played several shows around Milan city area and they won the third prize at Bustock, a local band contest in summer 2005. Finally in january 2006, they recorded 10 songs, at “Green sound studios” leaded by Vincenzo La Rosa (Out of project guitarist). During the first half of 2006 the band played some great live shows in the coolest places of its area. together with bands like FINLEY (emi/capitol), Forty Winks (wynona rec.), Bredford (ammonia rec.), Skruigners, one of the most rapresenting punk hard core band in italy and more. Spiteful's performances are a great combo of power, melody and adrenaline, they are famous for the strong envolvment they are able to transmit to the people during their shows... At the beginning of 2007 Stefano had to leave the band, he was replaced by Kikko (the ex Off we go again singer), 2007 was the turning point for the band: in march they released, through “Joke Records” an Italian independent record label, “Come out and play” our brand new album. In October 2007, thanks to a strong collaboration between Joke Records and the great German label "Antstreet Records" / "Solerosso Agency", this album will be release also in germany distribuited by "Radar Music distribution". ...So people it's time to rock hard, believe to us...italians aren't just good spaghetti's cookers...let's try to put the Spiteful's brand new album on your stereo, you will be satisfied!
