2011... the young six-headed austrian melodic-deathmetal band ZODIAC gets signed by NOISEHEAD RECORDS, therefore they changed their name into BLASPHEMIST, to create a whole new image of themselves. alongside to the writing and recording process of BLASPHEMIST´s second full-length album -SHADOWTORNED WORLD- which will be released on NOISEHEAD RECORDS and produced by MARIO JEZIK of the same company, came various shows all over austria that provided the perfect foundation for the uprising musicians. Their style of music combines the old traditional swedish school melodic-deathmetal with the fury and the severity of modern influences, altogether with neckbreaking live shows and a young and intransigent image.
