It all started out with Alex Vespestad, Shawn Nelson, & Ramsey Hovelson who had been playing Fall Out Boy, Blink-182, Weezer, and Sum 41 songs in Alex´s basement together since middle school eighth grade. Members have fallen in a fallen out, but they´ve always been on a search for a singer. They completed the group with vocalist Janie Briggs and rhythm guitarist Nathan Kitzmann in the winter of their Junior year, and at the same time came up with the name Just Another Band. With Alex as the bands lyricist and musically composer, In late August of 2011 they recorded their first single up in Minneapolis with record producer Jason Walsh. (Who has also worked with bands such as Just For Today.)
