I´m Jerry and my band is Bogus Pomp. I think Bogus Pomp is the most unique and interesting band around. We feel that we are one of the best bands that do what we do, which is recreating the music of our favorite composers in various ways. BP started in the summer of 1994 and since then has done amazing things and continued to grow in their chosen artistry. BP has evolved into a truly monsterous band that has become an institution of musical excellence in the Tampa Bay area. BP is becoming known for the monsterous improvisations that happen when the band fires up and really starts cooking. Improvisation is quickly becoming one of the band´s trademarks as well as their creative original material. Jerry Outlaw and Bogus Pomp proudly endorse MORLEY pedals, EMG pickups, FUCHS amplification and Granville custom electronics. Jerry also plays, loves and promotes early 80s Kramer guitars with the original Floyd Rose vibrato system, even though he is not officially affiliated with Kramer in any way.
