LESS THAN 4 is a hardrock band from the small village Äppelbo in Dalarna Sweden, which was formed in late 2007 by Max Landegren (guitar / vocals) and Stefan Westlund (Bass). Ludwig Tornemalm (drums) joined the band a year after. Less Than 4 was in the music competitions -LuciaRocken- in 2008 and garagerocken in 2009 and won both races. Less Than 4 has done about 100 gigs, including Peace and Love & Rockstad Falun. The band released an EP in 2009, where -Rock n Roll Dad- was played frequently on radio Dalarna. The band was mentioned much in the local media. 2010 brought the band a year of much songwriting for future albums. They did a few gigs over the summer to keep the live spirit up. In the summer of 2011 wrote the band a contract with the recordlabel -Sound Pollution (Black Lodge)- and began recording the debut album -By Blood by Heart- in Leon Music studios in Karlstad Sweden with Rikard Löfgren behind the wheels.
