“Mean to you” started out being only three different musicians (Drums, Guitar and Bass) who met years ago when they played in different bands. They ever wanted to do some cool stuff together, but never had the time to. After they met again on a gig at a local venue, they decided to meet for a jam session. During that session, everything worked out just fine. And only two days of randomly playing music together, they had written so much ideas that it was clear…THEY NEEDED TO CONTINUE! They first wanted to start off under the bandname “Juggernaut”, but renamed the band in todays known “Mean to you”. After two months of intense searching for a new singer, they finally met a very talented man and started rehearsing together. This young competent musician wasn’t just a singer with a powerful and warm voice, but he was also a “Mark Tremonti” influenced guitar player. So they ”killed two birds with one stone”. As he came up with a lot of his own alternative-style-marked songs, “Mean To You” had finally found the music, all members could identify themselves with, and the quest through the local music scene was about to start.
