The band originates from Italy and was formed in 1998. By 2000 Sovversivo´s identity evolved when members began writing songs which mixed both Hard Rock and Heavy Metal styles. Great live performances from 2002 to 2006, in collaboration with the Black Dahlia Agency (Even Vast, Methedras ,Raza De Odio, Necrodeath), gave Sovversivo the opportunity to play with well-known and respected bands such as Labyrinth, Rain, Extrema, Doomsword, Omen and Virgin Steele. 3 demo cd´s were recorded in 2002, 2003 and 2005. Of the founding members 3 remain; Andrea Uboldi, Matteo Serra and Federico Gassa. The drummer has changed 3 times, currently it is Gianluca Luci (ex Ahrcana) who joined in 2006. New lives, two new songs (-The raising faith- and -Brave guide-) and new arrangements to old stuff during 2007. At the beginning of 2008 Sovversivo enters the studio (Indyrecords studios - Hyades , Dust in Eyes, Kenos) to realize the first full-length: Wild Emotions. The album obtained wonderful reviews both in Italy and abroad. The second chapter came two years later, when ten brand new and explosive songs were born. The tracks were recorded in the beginning of 2011. During 2012 Sovversivo has the opportunity to work with two well-known and professional musicians such as Alessandro Del Vecchio and Dennis Ward entrusting the mixing and the mastering of the new album to them. Finally in spring 2013 the band get in contact with Noisehead Records and sign a deal.
