In 2004 the VICTORIUS members faced a world full of Core and new metal. The five saxonian metalheads wanted to make a stand against the downfall of real power in metal. With strong melodies, tough rhythm and precise vocals, mixed into a modern shape of sound, VICTORIUS started to rise.

In 2012 the band started to work with producer Lars Rettkowitz and label boss Karl Walterbach (formerly publishing HELLOWEEN, RUNNING WILD, GRAVE DIGGER at Noise Records). The result was the release of THE AWAKENING via Sonic Attack/SPV in Europe and North America and via Avalon Marquee in Japan in 2013. Despite the ignorance of music industry, VICTORIUS found their way into the heads of thousands of listeners.

Now that the window to the world is broken once, the band delivers a big step forward only one year later: DREAMCHASER is the second big output and will be released on 14.11.2014 in Europe, North America and Japan. It´s faster, tighter and bigger.

VICTORIUS is a live band of course. Beside festival gigs and a whole bunch of club shows the band supported FREEDOM CALL on their European tour in 2014. Power and energy is the essence of every VICTORIUS live show. These five musicians around charismatic singer David Baßin are the spearhead of the new Power Metal generation.
