Son
Musiker - Folk

http://www.facebook.com/sonmusicofficial/

The last thing you’d suspect when listening to Son is that he comes from the remarkably unspectacular Deep Lower Saxon town of Braunschweig. His songs, brimming with wanderlust, don’t feel as though they belong to a particular place and wander instead through the same musical hinterland as Josh Rouse, Jakob Dylan or even – steady now – Wilco. It makes sense, then, that Son’s first stage was the street; his tightly arranged compositions exude this sense of wandering and of never quite arriving. They even evoke the Scottish landscape, which is perhaps fitting given that his current producer, Rod Jones, hails from that part of the world. (Rasmus Engler, 2014 - revised by Simon Brown)
